Mazak is set to unveil two new laser processing machines for cutting tube, pipe and sheet metal with Laser Beam Shaping and Fiber technology at EuroBLECH 2022: the FG-400 NEO and OPTIPLEX 3015 NEO 15 kW.
The fiber technology can deliver significant cost reductions and energy savings (up to 60% compared to previous models), while providing unsurpassed cutting speed and quality for both thick and thin materials.
The cutting quality is achieved by controlling the power density concentration of the laser beam, while a wide range of different materials and thicknesses can be accommodated by adjusting the beam’s diameter and shape.
- The FG-400 NEO can streamline production and improve performance by running multiple processes in one machine, from 3D cutting to tapping, drilling, chamfering and flow-drilling when equipped with the optional tapping unit
- Thanks to the new 3D laser head with A/B axes and fibre laser technology, complex shapes and highly reflective materials can be machined
- The 4-chucks system provides additional stability by preventing material distortion during processing

Thanks to a winning combination of the new MAZATROL SmoothLx CNC Control, MCT3 cutting-head, and numerous customization options, OPTIPLEX 3015 NEO 15 kW provides excellent accuracy and precision for sheet metal processing

The large front and side access doors improve accessibility to the working area, easing loading and unloading operations.
The CST 3015 automation system consists of a single tower mounted above the laser bench with 8 separate drawers for the loading of raw material and the unloading of processed workpieces.
